Be prepared for your interview!

Are you selected for the interview by the company? Congratulations. But don't be excited as you have only crossed on hurdle.  You should be aware that now is the time when you need to be serious as you will come across various types of interview. Here is the list of the interview you might face:

1. Personal Interview: Personal interview can help you in knowing your employer better. You can interact with your interviewer and get the information about the company, about your job or about the person. It also helps in developing a relationship with the company as well as in expanding your network. You have to be prepared in advance for your interview. Read about the company on its website or the brochure. If possible, exchange business card to be in touch.

2. Telephone Interview: It is often used for the screening of open position. It last of around 10-15 minutes depending upon the recruiters need. For, telephonic interview your answers should be to the point. The good thing about the telephone interview is that you can prepare your resume, cover letter and other necessary document needed for the interview.

3. Video Interview: Video interview is usually used while recruiting for the remote areas or the job is based out of the state or country. Using Skype, video conferencing software or other video chatting services, an individual might be asked to complete the interview process by interacting with the employer over the internet. Wear professional attire and choose a place without any disturbance.

4. Panel Interview: This type of interview is conducted by more than three or four people. The panel may include; direct manager, hiring manager and other related individuals. Don't forget to make eye contact with the person asking questions as it shows your confidence.

5. Group Interview: As the name suggests, the group interview is conducted in groups which include groups of jobs seekers invited to take part in the process. This interview helps the interviewer to separate the best candidate. Make sure you voice is heard and act as a team player.
